I just received some very exciting news!

One of my paintings was selected to be used as the permanent artwork for an award that is given by the International Society for Bipolar Disorders (ISBD), an international medical society focusing on the education and treatment of Bipolar Disorder. Each year ISBD holds a conference for patients, researchers and clinicians focusing on the latest in Bipolar research and treatment.

As an artist living with Bipolar Disorder this feature is especially meaningful. Painting has always been an important part of my wellness regimen and this feels like a fitting reward for all of the hard work I’ve put in to reach a place of health and prolific creativity.

My painting is featured on ISBD’s prestigious Kupfer-Frank Distinctive Contribution award and will be presented at this year’s conference in Amsterdam!
