This year one of my goals is to explore the world of illustration by developing my own style and learning about licensing. But I’ve been kind of intimidated because I’m a wee bit insecure about my drawing skills. I’d much rather paint something than draw it! So when I came across a daily drawing challenge with artist and illustrator Lisa Congdon, a woman I admire for her talent and business savvy, my heart leapt with joy.
Here’s a little sampling of my daily doodles thus far.
Much can be achieved with small daily efforts. If you’re looking to push past a comfort zone, try something new, or make time for creativity a challenge like the 100 Day Project is an awesome way to do that and take part in a community of creatives! In case you missed it, here’s a peek at my own project - 100 Masks
