The 100 Day Project: Week 5

I Consider Makeup

Looking through my masks this past week had me wondering if I should photograph myself in a more flattering manner. I rarely wear makeup and I prefer a low maintenance hair routine whereby I wash it and let it air dry. I also have a face that photographs very long and I usually make an attempt to angle my head in a more flattering pose.

But this series isn’t about beauty. It’s about the juxtaposition between presenting myself just as I am and the methods I use to disguise that true self. 

It is my hope to grow in confidence as this series progresses. I truly believe that confidence is the most beautiful thing a woman can wear.
